Winter Color Inspiration: Marie Claire 2013 Cover

Recently, I was at Walgreens buying tape & wrapping paper. I saw this Marie Claire January 2013 cover with Lea Michele on it & I couldn't stop staring at it. I loved the colors.

I loved them so much that I made this mini color inspiration board & virtually shopped for pieces that would make up an outfit with these unique color combos. What do you think? Would you wear apple red, mint green, gold, taupe & black together?

Hot Pink Dress Combo

This dress is easily my favorite closet addition this summer.  It's super wearable & fun.  I love the hot pink color & the pockets (!!!!).  It's surprisingly versatile & has been my go to "wedding" dress this season.  Check out more photos after the jump to see how I traded these neutral accessories for bolder ones. Spring is here! Per usual I'll be wearing swingy skirts and dresses (belted at the waist) with chunky sandals amped up with pops of color plus these sunnies that I scored at A Second Chance Resale in SoHo, the only ones that have truly lasted the test of time!  Lucky for you can can shop more hand picked high end duds  online for a fraction of the price.
