Strawberry Basil Mint Yogurt Pops

Since we're going through another heatwave on the east coast I felt the need to make some cold & refreshing treats with stuff I already had in the fridge.  Using yogurt & some fresh produce I made yogurt pops.

I think they make a pretty perfect summer dessert or breakfast (no judgements please)!

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup plain greek yogurt
  • 10-15 strawberries (rough chop)
  • 5 fresh mint leaves
  • 5 fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons agave nectar (or honey or sugar)

Make it!
  1. Combine all ingredients together in a food processor or blender.
  2. Pour mixture into ice pop molds (or you can use small paper cups or ice cube trays with tooth picks or popsicle sticks.
  3. Freeze for 8 hours or over night.
  4. Eat on a hot day.
Tip #1: If you don't "do yogurt" just substitute water for a more icy version.
Tip #2: Taste your fruit first, if it's sweet enough you may not need extra agave.
Tip #3: If you don't feel like breaking out a food processor or herbs go ahead & get the yogurt with the fruit mixed in already & freeze that.  That's probably the easiest version of this & way to make any dessert for the matter.  Enjoy!

  1. These look so good - adding the mint and basil will give them a much more complex flavor. It's funny, I was just reading an article in a magazine about DIY popsicles. This must be a sign :)
