I love dressing up, I do. However, on the days that I'm not working I love wearing my favorite comfy clothes.  If I must leave the house  I'm more often than not wearing these biker boots, otherwise I'm running around the apartment barefoot telling Chris my feet are cold.

This is my go-to sweater right now, it's pretty mullet-like.: old-man-sweater in the front & swingy & a bit longer in the back. But most importantly I love the color & its coziness.

I know what you're thinking.  It's the same thing Chris said to me this morning "those are socks?"  Yes, they're socks.  Sometimes I dig deep into my closet & start the day off with some fun like with leopard, opened toed patent leather tooth achingly sweet heels, shimmery socks & a bright cardigan.

The weather in the North East is still warm enough to go bare legged but not warm enough to go bare toed (read: perfect weather for socks!)

I bought these socks last year & just rediscovered them in my sock drawer. I'm usually much more of a tights girl, but these were so cute I knew I would wear them one day.

Hot Pink Dress Combo

This dress is easily my favorite closet addition this summer.  It's super wearable & fun.  I love the hot pink color & the pockets (!!!!).  It's surprisingly versatile & has been my go to "wedding" dress this season.  Check out more photos after the jump to see how I traded these neutral accessories for bolder ones.
