I know twists are the it 'do for this spring but I still love a braid. Inspired by the latest box office rage, The Hunger Games, and this fantastic tutorial I whipped my hair into this braid before I headed off to work today.
I think my favorite part about this braid is that the messier it is the better.

ReplyDeleteI hear ya. Try braiding without a mirror that's what gets my hands all messed up sometimes. Try it when you have no where to go and you're just sitting on your couch in sweats. I feel like that's when i get the best practice (and the best braids - which is bitter sweet - all dolled up with no where to go). Thanks for your comment! Happy braiding ;)
DeleteThis is adorable Heather! My hair is really thin though! So far any of the things I'm finding on pinterest for hair doesn't seem to look right when I try it...I'll figure it out one of these days.
ReplyDeletebecky my hair is super thin too! sometimes the dirtier the better. if it has some second day hairspray in it gives it some more texture. also if you don't really brush it... that sounds gross but it gives it some bulk! give it a whirl. let me know if that works for you! xx
