My knife skills seem to improve with time but there are still some things that are tough to cut with a knife, in particular fresh herbs - specifically chives. They're thin to start with so you want to cut a bunch at a time but when I use a sharp knife to cut through them the finished product leaves much room for improvement. Enter kitchen shears. You don't have to have killer knife skills to cut chives anymore, you just need to be able to use a pair of scissors & snip little pieces of chives off from the end. Cutting chives is now super easy! You can also use kitchen to cut any other fresh herbs that might be challenging you.
